It is true that Godfred deserves to be at the left full back position. He has height, well-tackling and overlapping gives the upperhand over Pappoe and others. I dont see why they always relies on professional why the local guys gives good accounts of themselves as it happened in the last two matches the national team played against South-Africa and Burkina Faso as Issah Ahmed and Hamza have to save the national team.

Godfred Yeboah have actually lose form and I dont see why he need to be called into the national team. Dan Edusei and probably Hans should play that role, and if possible the coaches should convert one of the attacking midfielders as coach Arday did to 1995 starlet squard.

Anyone who watched the Bafana Bafana match against the Black Stars will reject Dan Edusei outright for that position . Believe me when I tell you that he cannot kick with his right foot .and looks too cumbersome for that role. ..

What about converting some of the midfielders to man that position.
Godfred actually got injury at the beginning of the season and have affected his performance up to date. What about Hamza or Yaw Amankwaah Mireku?

yaw mireku has been out of action for awhile which shows he is out of form and hamza is much comfortable at midfield role. if pappoe is not good enough for that position then i think we dont anybody for that position.

i understand that the # 3 position needs attention but goalkeeping is the headache of the national team .

Actually Godfred Yeboah in my opinion is currently the best # 3 in the league and he had mastered this position for at least 5 yrs. All what he need confident and encouragement. Hans and Pappoe are really good but we need someone like Godfred in the team in case something happened to any of the above players he fits nicely. Player like Edusei is totally disgraced for position.

We definately need a standing local national team in place, We have all the good guys that match the professionals in every department of the game. We are currently having competetive league and the boys are in good shape.
